Make Way for a Give-Away

It's time to heat things up over here at the Nancy Jean Home Blog. No better way I know of, than to host a give-away!

From now until the end of June I'll be collecting names for a drawing to give this sweet set away. You'll get to choose from 1 of my 9 Backyard Birds, and 1 of my Little Nests — a duet that's sure to brighten any spot in  your home!

    Oh Nancy - you are keeping busy so fun to see your work. Love the room with the yellow chairs, the Kentucky landscape and the Rooster painting. Very nice work...I feel boring, still doing regular graphic design and illustration. Glad you are doing so well :)

    Many folks think theat that's real wood on the sides of the Nests — it's actually the canvas that wraps around, painted in the faux-bois (fancy french for "fake-wood")technique.
    The canvases are cradled in wood, but it's covered by the canvas!

    I saw your thread over on Etsy, took a look at your shop and had to put you in my favorites right away! So beautiful! I think my favorite painting is the mama robin with her eggs in the nest.
    Do you ever offer prints of your originals? I know lots of successful artists on etsy do so and make a lot of sales that way for those of us that can't afford an original.

    I love your paintings! I adore birds so these really speak to me. My favorite item in your shop is the goldfinch. It's been my favorite bird since I was a little kid and drew one in third grade for a project :-)

    I love each of your farmhouse paintings...being the granddaughter of an Iowa farmer who now lives in an old farmhouse, that's probably not shocking. ;)

    I simply adore the Lake paintings on Etsy, especially Quiet Morning on the Lake. Lake Burton in North Georgia has been my own Terabithia my whole life, and any painting of a lake just stirs something in me. So we share a love of lakes, art and a name! I also am very taken by the Farm scenes, and Kentucky Hilltop Farm is the one that most strikes a chord with me. Beautiful work!
